Hervé de la Vauvre joined Griffith Laboratories in 1996 as President of Griffith Laboratories Europe, based in Paris. Within three years, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Griffith Laboratories Worldwide. Prior to joining Griffith, Hervé spent twenty years working in several divisions of Midial, and was Senior Vice President, leading their European business before his departure.

Educated in France, Hervé graduated as a Food Engineer from the Institut Agronomique de Paris with an MBA. He is devoted to his community and demonstrates this by giving his time as a President of the French Trade Advisors, President of The Alliance Française de Chicago, and a highly esteemed member of the Board of Directors of the French American Chamber of Commerce of Chicago.

Hervé de la Vauvre likes to introduce himself as a global citizen
committed to delivering value and results. Born in 1951, he is married
with three children. His hobbies include sports, history and art. He has
also published a collection of poems. In 2004, he was inducted into
l'Ordre de la Légion d'Honneur.

Dean Griffith’s entrepreneurial spirit and determination to keep Griffith Laboratories a strong global private company have served as models for Hervé de la Vauvre’s professional life. Through Dean’s vision Griffith Laboratories has grown into a truly global company that today serves the worldwide food industry. Hervé and Dean share a passion for exploring the world and a dedication to community and family.

Doug Porter
CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana

Doug Porter leads four Ronald McDonald Houses that provide a "home away from home" for up to 84 families of hospitalized children each day, as well as the Ronald McDonald Care-Mobile, which provides free medical services to children without access to healthcare and a scholarship program that allows 40 young adults to pursue their academicdreams. Hervé particularly admires the way Doug applies the international experience he gained in the U.S. Navy and with Leo Burnett to his role serving the community.
