-- ROLE AND MISSIONS
The French American Chamber of Commerce - Chicago Chapter is a non-for-profit/apolitical association. Our resource base is generated through the annual dues of our members and the services that we offer.

The FACC is a double structure constituted by a National Chamber, 19 Chapters across the United States, and a Paris Chapter. Every FACC organization has the same general goal.

Role and missions
The main goal of the Chamber is to facilitate economic exchanges between French and American companies in the Chicago/Midwest region. The Chamber thus organizes events to bring our members together in the spirit of establishing contacts and expanding the economic relationship between France and the United States.
However, we also exist to offer networking opportunities to the local business community at large. We feel very strongly that creating personal contacts is vital to our success. To foster the dialogue between various businesses and sectors, we organize international networking events such as thematic business seminars, luncheons, business card exchanges, trade missions, trade shows, etc.

Our members are the reason that the Chamber is able to offer an invaluable source of information to people around the world. We rely on the 40% of our annual revenues that membership dues contribute for our survival. Our members vary from large, small and medium-sized companies - French and American - and we work closely with them to offer programs and services that can help them develop their business.

The FACC is a double structure constituted by a National Chamber, 19 Chapters across the United States, and a Paris Chapter.

The American Chapters are found in the following locations: Atlanta, Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Los Angeles, Louisiana, Miami, Michigan, Minneapolis/St. Paul, New England, New York, Northern Ohio, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, D.C.

Each Chapter is independent and elects its own directors. Every FACC organization has the same general goal:

- To encourage the sale of goods and services between the two countries and to promote a better understanding of international relations.
- To provide information on the economic situation and the work environment in France as well as in the U.S. as conducive to promoting commercial and industrial entrepreneurial investment in one country or the other.
- To work in France and in the U.S. with different governmental, economic, diplomatic and consular associations that pursue similar goals.
- To facilitate contact between our members and theirs so as to develop solid commercial, economic and financial relationship between the two countries.
