Jean Clauteaux grew up until he was 18 years old in the Uaiparú-La Gran Sabana jungle on the Brazil-Venezuela border.
Jean is a French-Venezuelan Executive with over 20 years of professional career at L'Oréal. Before becoming the CEO-President of L'Oréal Venezuela from 2011 to 2016, Jean was the Marketing and Commercial Director of L'Oréal in France, General Manager in Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
Jean is currently the founder of URIJI, a global social network App made by Latin Americans.
Jean graduated from the University of Paris 10 and the Sorbonne with a Master's degree in Modern Literature. He also did advanced studies on Latin America at IHEAL Paris.
Jean Clauteaux is a Knight of the French National Order of Merit.
He was elected Counselor of the French in Venezuela. He's currently a Foreign Trade Advisor of France (CCEF).
Jean is a member of the Board of Advisors of Linking Realities Union Avatars in the Metaverse in Barcelona-Spain.

Jean enjoys spending time with his three children and wife, Daniella Meneses Petersen, a Venezuelan master baker in Valencia, Spain.
